Afeez Aremu

Afeez Aremu of Aberdeen was born in Ibadan, Nigeria on 3 October 1999 (age 27).

Afeez Aremu, born on 3 October 1999 (age 27), is a Nigerian central defensive midfielder with Aberdeen. He wears squad number 32 and is valued at around £510,000 by Transfermarkt.

His most productive league season came with Start in 2018, when he scored three times in 26 appearances. That remains the clearest marker in a career built more around midfield work than headline numbers.

At Aberdeen in 2026–27, Aremu has made 11 league appearances and six in the League Cup, giving him 17 appearances across all competitions for the club. It is a straightforward Scottish Premiership profile: a defensive midfielder, established enough to be involved, without much need for embroidery.
