Aleksandar Pavlovic, born on 3 May 2004 (age 22), is a German defensive midfielder whose senior career has been built at Bayern Munich. There is little need to pad the story with detours: Bayern are the point of it so far.
Across four Bundesliga seasons with Bayern, Pavlovic has made 67 league appearances and scored seven league goals. His most productive league campaign came in 2025-26, when he scored three times in 24 appearances, a useful return from a position usually judged on tidiness, positioning and the avoidance of needless drama.
In 2026-27, he has made three Bundesliga appearances and scored once, with further outings in the DFL-Supercup and Champions League taking him to five Bayern appearances in all competitions for the season. His market value is around £42.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
He has also been involved with Germany, with World Cup and European qualifying appearances on his record this season. At this stage, Pavlovic’s career is still a Bayern Munich career above all else: a young midfielder with a clear role, regular senior minutes, and enough substance to be discussed beyond the usual academy-product noise.
