Álex Valle, born on 25 April 2004 (age 22), is a Spanish left-back now with Como. He came through Barcelona’s system before joining Celtic in August 2024, a move that carried the usual interest when a young player arrives from that particular production line.
His Celtic spell sits in the early part of a developing senior career rather than as the whole story. Valle has since built more regular league experience in Italy, with his most productive campaign coming at Como in 2025-2026, when he made 28 league appearances and scored once.
In 2026-2027, he has made five Serie A appearances for Como. His current market value is around £8.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
Valle’s career so far has taken him from Barcelona to Celtic and on to Como, with his Italian spell giving him the clearest run of senior football to date.
