Alfons Amade, born on 12 November 1999 (age 26), is a Mozambique international midfielder with Dunfermline Athletic. A centre-midfielder by trade, he wears the number 14 and remains a regular first-team presence in the 2025-2026 season.
His most productive league campaign came at Oostende in 2021-2022, when he scored two goals in 18 appearances. That is not a spectacular return, but it gives a fair picture of the player: more functional midfielder than headline act.
At Dunfermline, Amade has been heavily involved this season. He has made 39 appearances in all competitions without scoring, including 28 in the Championship, along with Scottish Cup and play-off football. That level of use says enough about his place in the side.
He has also stayed involved with Mozambique, making eight African World Cup qualifying appearances this season and scoring once, as well as appearing in the Africa Cup of Nations. His career to date has been that of a steady professional midfielder, moving from Oostende to an important role at Dunfermline while remaining active at international level.
