Benjamin Henrichs, born on 23 February 1997 (age 29), is a German right-back whose senior career has been shaped most clearly at RB Leipzig. He wears the number 39 shirt and has become a long-term Bundesliga presence rather than a passing squad option.
Across seven seasons with Leipzig, Henrichs has made 137 league appearances and scored seven league goals. His most productive league campaign came in 2021-2022, when he scored three times in 22 appearances, a useful return for a player whose main work has usually been more functional than decorative.
In 2026-2027, he has made seven Bundesliga appearances for Leipzig. His market value is around £17m, according to Transfermarkt.
Henrichs’ career is a steady one: a German international-level full-back best known for his years at RB Leipzig, with a sizeable body of Bundesliga work behind him and his role still centred on that club.
