Bruce Anderson, hailing from Scotland and born on 23rd September 1998, now stands in the forefront as a steadfast forward for Kilmarnock. Often spotted in the number 19 jersey, Anderson, measuring 1.78m (5ft 10in) in height and weighing in at 77kg (12st 1lb), enshrines an impressive physical framework.
Anderson's professional journey set off in July 2015 when he joined Aberdeen as a trainee. Over the following seasons, he began establishing his footing in the team. Making 14 first team appearances and netting in two goals in the 2018-2019 season, 11 appearances with a lone goal in the 2019-2020 season and six appearances in the 2020-2021 season, Anderson made his presence known at Aberdeen.
Come August 2017, Anderson relocated to Elgin City on a loan, where he managed to make 14 first team appearances and score six goals in the debut season 2017-2018. January of the following year saw Anderson's return to Aberdeen on completion of his loan, once more demonstrating his prowess on the field with successful seasons that followed.
Another loan move awaited Anderson in January 2019, as he was transferred to Dunfermline Athletic. However, six months later, Anderson found himself back at Aberdeen, a testament to his continual growth and budding consistency.
In a turn of events, October 2020 marked another loan move for Anderson, this time to Ayr United. Yet again, a short stint of three months culminated in him returning to his home club, Aberdeen. His performances seemed to grow year on year, asserting his reliability as a forward.
A sudden change in scenery saw Anderson transferred to Hamilton Academical on loan in February 2021, carrying out 13 first team appearances and scoring two goals in the 2020-2021 season. However, in July 2021, another transfer, this time a permanent one, saw Anderson move from Aberdeen to Livingston.
His seasons at Livingston, ranging from 2021 to 2024, were a measure of his journey forged in grit, clocking 28, 30 and 34 first team appearances with 11, 6 and 7 goals respectively. July 2024 witnessed Anderson's transfer from Livingston to his current club, Kilmarnock, where his career seems to be in progressive motion.
As of the current season, 2025-2026, Anderson has made 23 first team appearances and scored three goals in league matches. Notably, he also participated in the League Cup 2025-2026 for Kilmarnock, scoring a goal across two starts and four substitute appearances, and also made an appearance as a substitute in the Scottish Cup 2025-2026 for Kilmarnock.
