Bryan Cristante, born on 3 March 1995 (age 31), is an Italy international midfielder whose career has settled most firmly at Roma. Primarily used as a central defensive midfielder, he wears the number 4 shirt and has built his value less on flash than on durability, positional discipline and a willingness to do the unglamorous work.
Before Roma became the main thread, Cristante’s development had a more unsettled shape. The key season was 2017-18 at Atalanta, where he scored nine league goals in 36 appearances.
