Castella Lukeba, born on 17 December 2002 (age 23), is a French central defender with RB Leipzig, where he wears the number 23 shirt.
He first made his mark at Lyon. His 2021-22 league season there remains his most productive in front of goal, with two goals in 24 appearances, a useful early return for a defender still establishing himself.
His career has since been shaped far more by RB Leipzig. Across four seasons with the German club, Lukeba has made 85 league appearances and scored twice, becoming a regular part of their Bundesliga set-up rather than a passing squad option.
In 2026-27, he has made four Bundesliga appearances. His profile is that of an established professional centre-back whose senior career now sits firmly around Leipzig, after that earlier grounding in France.
