Chris Mochrie, born on 7 April 2003 (age 23), is a Scottish attacking midfielder with St Mirren, where he wears squad number 23. He is a central attacking midfielder by trade, operating in the part of the pitch where neat touches are useful and end product is still the bit that gets counted.
His strongest league season so far came with Airdrieonians in 2024-25, when he scored seven goals in 33 appearances. That remains the clearest marker of his productivity at senior level, and a decent return for a player working behind the front line.
At St Mirren in 2026-27, Mochrie has made 11 league appearances, alongside five League Cup appearances with two goals and two Scottish Cup outings. Across all competitions for the Paisley club, he has 18 appearances and two goals.
Mochrie’s career is still in its developing phase: a Scottish attacking midfielder with a productive Airdrie season behind him and a current role in St Mirren’s squad. The next step is simply to turn involvement into a steadier influence.
