Cláudio Braga, born on 28 October 1999 (age 27), is a Portuguese striker whose senior career is now tied firmly to Hearts. He is valued at around £6m, according to Transfermarkt.
His Hearts spell has given his career its shape. Across two league seasons he has made 49 league appearances and scored 19 goals, with 2025-2026 his most productive campaign: 14 goals in 38 league games. That is the sort of return that tends to keep a centre-forward relevant, even in a side where patience is not usually handed out in bulk.
In 2026-2027, Braga has remained a regular part of the Hearts first team. He has scored five times in 11 league appearances, and his wider season includes two goals in two League Cup ties, plus appearances in the Scottish Cup, Europa League qualifiers, Champions League qualifiers, Conference League qualifiers and the Conference League proper. Across all competitions for Hearts this season, he has made 21 appearances and scored seven goals.
Braga’s profile is straightforward: a Portuguese striker whose career has been defined by his work at Hearts, where he has become a steady first-team presence and a consistent source of goals.
