Connor Barron is a Scottish central midfielder, born on 29 August 2002 (age 23), now with Rangers. His senior profile was built at Aberdeen, where he emerged as a tidy, competitive option in the middle of the park rather than the sort of player who demands much theatre.
His most productive league season came in 2022-23 at Aberdeen, when he scored once in 17 appearances. That spell gave him a platform in the Scottish top flight and led on to his move to Rangers, where the scrutiny is rather less forgiving.
In 2026-27, Barron has made six Europa League appearances for Rangers, matching his total for the club across all competitions. His career so far is still a developing one: Aberdeen provided the grounding, Rangers the larger stage.
