Corrie Ndaba

Corrie Ndaba

Corrie Ndaba of Lecce was born on 25 December 1999 (age 25).

Corrie Ndaba, a native of the Republic of Ireland, was born in the closing days of the millennium, specifically 25th December 1999. Today, aged 25, he has made a name for himself as a resolute defender in Scottish football, primarily in the left-back position. Currently plying his trade at Kilmarnock, he stands tall above many of his contemporaries at 6ft 2in (1.88 metres), and cuts a sturdy figure, weighing in at 12st 12lb (82 kg). His talents and contributions to the team are venerated on the pitch by the celebrated number 3 jersey he dons.

Cutting back to July 2016, Ndaba took his first professional step on English soil, joining Ipswich Town in the Premier League as a trainee. Little did he know, the fertile lands of Suffolk would serve as his professional home base, despite several temporary departures on loan to other clubs.

Flash forward to January 2021, and our young left-back found himself seeking pastures anew in a loan spell north of the border with Ayr United in Scotland's Championship. However, his wanderings didn't stop there – another journey south beckoned him later that year in August, seeing him test his mettle in England's League Two with Salford City.

A year later, Ndaba travelled again, this time embarking on a loan spell with Burton Albion in League One. Here, his debut season (2022-2023) offered opportunities that had been scarcely available to him elsewhere, with Ndaba making seven first team appearances in league matches.

Whilst 2023 was well underway, Ndaba's itinerant football journey led him to Fleetwood Town, still in England's League Two on another loan stint from Ipswich Town. Here, his first team appearances were sparsely placed across the fixtures of the 2022-2023 Season.

But then, when the gorse was in bloom in July of 2023, he answered the call from Scotland again. This time, it was a loan move to Kilmarnock, making his mark firmly in the Premiership. Here, he not only secured 28 appearances during the season of arrival (2023-2024), he also managed to get his name on the scoresheet, eliciting roars from the Rugby Park faithful.

The fervour of his performances forced a decision in July 2024 for a permanent move from Ipswich Town to Kilmarnock, this time for an undisclosed fee. The 2023-2024 season was promising for Ndaba, with the Irish defender repeating his performance of 28 first team appearances and once again finding the back of the net. In the ongoing season (2024-2025), he has already clocked in 31 appearances and found the net once more. Additionally, he added a start in the Scottish Cup 2024-2025 and a substitute appearance in the Conference League Qualifiers to his burgeoning football portfolio.
