Daniele Ghilardi was born on 6 January 2003 (age 23) and is an Italian central defender with Roma, where he wears squad number 87.
His strongest senior run so far came at Sampdoria in 2023-24, when he made 37 league appearances and scored twice. For a developing centre-half, that was useful mileage rather than decoration.
At Roma, Ghilardi has made nine appearances across all competitions in 2026-27, including four in Serie A and one in the Champions League. He has also had four outings in UEFA Under-21 qualifying, keeping him on the fringes of the wider Italian pathway.
His current market value is around £7m, according to Transfermarkt. At this stage, his career is still taking shape: a solid Sampdoria season behind him, a place in Roma’s squad, and enough senior football to suggest there is something to work with.
