Dylan Smith, born on 21 January 2006 (age 20), is a Scottish central defender whose senior career has been shaped almost entirely at Ross County. A commanding 6ft 3in (1.90m), he has been used primarily through the middle of defence, where the physical profile is obvious enough without needing dressed up.
His clearest run in league football came in 2022-23, when he made 13 league appearances for County. Across five seasons with the Dingwall club, he has reached 48 league appearances, a fair body of work for a defender still in the earlier stages of his career.
In 2026-27, Smith has remained involved at Ross County, with league, League Cup and Scottish Cup football adding to his senior experience. His career to this point is a straightforward Ross County one: development, first-team exposure, and a growing record at the same club.
