Ege Tıknaz (born 17 August 2004, age 22) is a Turkish centre midfielder with SC Braga. At 6ft 4in (1.93m), he is an imposing presence in the middle of the pitch, though his senior career is still at the stage where promise needs regular football beside it.
His most productive league season came at Rio Ave in 2024-25, when he scored four goals in 28 appearances. That gave him a proper foothold in senior football and a useful line on the CV, rather than the usual thin gruel attached to many young midfielders.
He is now at Braga, where he has made five Liga Portugal appearances in 2026-27. His market value is around £4.5m, according to Transfermarkt. His career so far is a developing one: Rio Ave gave him a platform, Braga is the next test.
