Elijah Just, born on 1 May 2000 (age 26), is a New Zealand right winger who has become a regular first-team player at Motherwell. Wearing the No 21 shirt, he has stayed involved throughout 2025-26 rather than drifting around the edges of the squad.
His league work has been productive enough to attract notice. In 2025-26 he made 35 league appearances and scored seven goals, his best league return to date, while also adding two Scottish Cup appearances. Across all competitions for Motherwell, that left him on 37 appearances and seven goals for the season.
He has also remained involved with New Zealand, making one World Cup appearance and scoring twice, as well as one Oceania World Cup qualifying appearance in which he scored four. His market value is around £2m, according to Transfermarkt.
Just was linked with a move to Celtic in May 2026 while at Motherwell. For now, his career is that of an established Premiership wide player with international involvement and a useful scoring return from the right flank.
