Emmanuel Agbadou, born on 17 June 1997 (age 29), is an Ivory Coast central defender with Besiktas. At 6ft 4in (1.92m), he brings obvious size to the position, though his career has been built on more than simply being difficult to miss.
He was firmly established at Eupen by 2021-2022, his most productive league season coming with five goals in 33 appearances. For a centre-half, that was a useful return rather than a headline act, but it underlined his value at both ends of the pitch.
Agbadou remains involved at Besiktas in 2026-2027, wearing squad number 12 and continuing as a regular first-team presence. He has made 15 appearances across all competitions, including 10 in the Süper Lig, two in Europa League qualifying and two more in the Europa League.
He has also stayed in the Ivory Coast picture this season, with three World Cup appearances and five in African World Cup qualifying, scoring once in the qualifiers. His career is that of an established professional centre-back: proven in Belgium, now active in Turkey and still relevant for club and country.
