Ethan Ross was born on the 15th of August 2001 in Scotland and is currently 24 years of age. Acting primarily as a left winger, this forward currently plies his trade for Falkirk, where he dons the number 23 jersey. Ross is of a relatively compact build, standing at 5ft 8in (1.73m) and weighing in at 11st (70kg).
Ross started his professional football pursuits with Aberdeen in July 2017, joining as a trainee in the Scottish Premiership. Over the course of three seasons, from 2018 to 2021, he made a combined total of eight first team appearances in league matches for Aberdeen.
In a bid for more regular playing time, Ross was loaned out to Dunfermline Athletic in the Scottish Championship in January 2020, only to return to Aberdeen in June the same year.
A second loan move materialised in October 2020, this time to Raith Rovers also in the Scottish Championship. He enjoyed a significant increase in playing time here, making 20 first team appearances and scoring one goal in the 2022 - 2023 season. He made a further three appearances in the following season, before his loan period ended in February 2021 and Ross made his return to Aberdeen.
However, Ross would soon find himself back at Raith Rovers, this time as a permanent signing in October 2021. His performances during this stint saw him make 23 first team appearances across two seasons, scoring one goal.
In September 2023, Ross was offered a loan move to Falkirk in the Scottish Premiership. Ross found his stride at this club, making 36 first team appearances and scoring eight goals in the 2024 - 2025 season. He has continued to impress in the current 2025 - 2026 season with 16 first team appearances and one goal. His move to Falkirk was sealed as a permanent transfer in July 2024, much to the delight of the fans.
Furthermore, Ross has demonstrated his capabilities not just in the league, but in cup competitions as well, scoring two goals in his two starting and two substitute appearances for Falkirk in the League Cup 2025 - 2026. He also made a substitute appearance for Falkirk in the Scottish Cup during the same season.
