Evan Ndicka, born 20 August 1999 (age 27), is an Ivory Coast international centre-half with Roma. An imposing 6ft 3in (1.90m), he wears the number 5 shirt and is valued at around £25.5m by Transfermarkt.
His career is still shaped most clearly by Eintracht Frankfurt. Across five seasons there, Ndicka made 134 league appearances and scored 10 league goals, becoming a durable and regular presence rather than a passing name. His best scoring season came in 2021-2022, when he managed four goals in 32 league appearances.
Roma took him into Serie A, where he has remained part of the first-team picture. In 2026-2027 he has made 15 appearances in all competitions for the club, scoring twice, with 10 of those outings coming in the Europa League. He has also been active for Ivory Coast, making seven appearances in African World Cup qualifying.
Ndicka’s profile is a straightforward one: a tall, left-sided central defender whose strongest body of work came in Germany, now continuing as a regular senior player with Roma and Ivory Coast.
