Evan Ndicka, born on 20 August 1999 (age 27), is an Ivory Coast international central defender with Roma. An imposing 6ft 3in (1.90m) presence, he wears the number 5 shirt and is valued at around £25.5m by Transfermarkt.
His most productive league season came with Eintracht Frankfurt in 2021-22, when he scored four goals in 32 appearances. That remains a fair guide to his profile: a centre-half with enough threat at set pieces, but whose main value sits in the basics of defending rather than decoration.
At Roma in 2026-27, Ndicka has made 11 appearances across all competitions, including five in Serie A and two in the Champions League. He has also been active for Ivory Coast, with seven appearances in African World Cup qualifying.
Ndicka’s career has moved from a strong Bundesliga spell at Eintracht Frankfurt to a settled role at Roma, alongside regular international involvement with Ivory Coast.
