Gavin Molloy (born 19 October 2001, age 25) is a Republic of Ireland central defender with Aberdeen, where he wears the number 21 shirt. He is valued at around £510,000 by Transfermarkt.
His career to date is shaped mainly by his spell at Shelbourne. Across three seasons he made 68 league appearances and scored four league goals, with his most productive year coming in 2022, when he scored twice in 19 league games. That was the period in which he put down his most substantial body of senior work.
At Aberdeen in 2026-27, Molloy has made eight league appearances and scored once, along with four League Cup appearances and one in the Scottish Cup. His Aberdeen total stands at 13 appearances and one goal across all competitions, a fairly clear next step after the heavier workload he carried at Shelbourne.
