Hugo Álvarez, born on 2 July 2003 (age 23), is a Spanish right winger whose senior career has been tied almost entirely to Celta Vigo. Wearing the number 23, he has built his first substantial run of senior football there rather than drifting through the usual collection of loans and half-spells.
His league record for Celta stands at 71 appearances and nine goals across five seasons. The clearest step forward came in 2024–25, when he scored four times in 26 league appearances, his most productive campaign so far.
