Ionuț Radu

Ionuț Radu of Celta Vigo was born in Bucharest, Romania on 28 May 1997 (age 29).

Ionuț Radu, born on 28 May 1997 (age 29), is a Romanian goalkeeper with Celta Vigo, where he wears squad number 13.

His early senior record includes one league appearance for Inter Milan in 2015-16. For a goalkeeper, the goal column is not really the point, and his career has been shaped more by finding regular games than by any tidy statistical headline.

At Celta Vigo in 2026-27, Radu has made 11 LaLiga appearances and three in the Europa League, giving him 14 appearances in all competitions for the club. He has also been involved with Romania this season, playing three World Cup qualifiers and two Nations League matches.

Radu’s career is that of an established professional goalkeeper who has come through a major Italian club and is now getting senior football in Spain, while remaining part of the Romania set-up.
