Ivan Smolčić, born on 17 August 2000 (age 26), is a Croatian right-back now with Como. His market value is around £1.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
His career to this point has been shaped overwhelmingly by Rijeka. Across three seasons there, he made 69 league appearances and scored once, with his most productive league campaign coming in 2024-25, when he played 18 times and got that goal.
Smolčić has since moved on to Como, where in 2026-27 he has made five appearances across all competitions: three in Serie A and two in the Champions League. He has also been involved with Croatia this season, appearing in World Cup qualifying and the Nations League.
It is still a developing career, but the outline is clear enough: Rijeka gave him his main body of senior football, Como has taken him into a stronger league environment, and Croatia have brought him into the international picture.
