Jack Walton, born on 23 April 1998 (age 28), is an English goalkeeper whose senior career has come to be shaped mainly at Dundee United. He had early league exposure at Barnsley, making three league appearances in 2017-18, but that spell now reads more like a starting point than the body of the work.
At Dundee United, Walton has built the record that gives his career its substance. Wearing the number 1 shirt, he has made 83 league appearances across three seasons, a decent enough marker of trust in a position where clubs tend not to rotate for the sake of it.
In 2026-27, he has made 11 league appearances and five League Cup appearances for Dundee United, taking him to 16 appearances in all competitions for the season. His current market value is around £425,000, according to Transfermarkt.
Walton’s career remains a fairly plain one to read: a goalkeeper with limited early league outings at Barnsley, followed by a much more substantial run at Dundee United, where most of his senior football has been played.
