Jacob Hödl, born on 31 January 2007 (age 19), is an Austrian central midfielder with Sturm Graz. His early senior football came through Sturm Graz II, where the 2024-25 season gave a clearer sign of his progress: three goals in 20 league appearances from midfield.
By 2026-27 he had moved into the first-team picture at Sturm Graz. He has made 10 appearances across all competitions, including one in the Bundesliga, two in Champions League qualifying and seven in the Europa League. That is a useful spread of early senior minutes rather than a full arrival, but it places him firmly on the pathway at a club that has not been shy about giving young players responsibility.
Hödl’s career is still in its first proper stretch: Sturm Graz II development football, followed by senior involvement with Sturm Graz at domestic and European level. For now, he is a developing Austrian midfielder building experience in a serious environment.
