Jardell Kanga is a Swedish left winger, born on 13 December 2005 (age 20), now with Motherwell, where he wears the number 13 shirt. Compact at 5ft 6in (1.68m), he is still in the early part of his senior career, but the shape of it is already clear enough.
His best work so far came at Ilves. Across two seasons there, Kanga made 47 league appearances and scored 15 league goals, with the 2026 campaign the obvious peak: 10 goals in 20 league games. That spell gives the career its substance to this point, rather than merely padding out a young player’s CV.
At Motherwell in 2026-27, he has made nine league appearances and scored one league goal. He has also featured five times in Conference League qualifying, scoring once, taking his overall Motherwell record to 14 appearances and two goals.
Kanga’s career is still developing, but Ilves remains the spell that best explains his profile: a young Swedish wide player who found regular football, goals, and a platform before moving on to Motherwell.
