Jayden Richardson, born on 4 September 2000 (age 26), is an English right-back whose senior career has come to be shaped mainly by St Mirren. His earlier record includes two league appearances for Nottingham Forest in 2021-22, a modest start rather than the sort of opening act that demands embroidery.
St Mirren has been the main body of the work. Wearing squad number 2, Richardson has made 39 league appearances across two seasons for the Paisley club, operating primarily on the right side of defence. In 2026-27, he has made 15 appearances across the competitions listed for St Mirren, including five in the league, four in the League Cup, four in the Scottish Cup and two in the Premiership play-offs.
His current market value is around £298,000, according to Transfermarkt. Richardson’s career remains that of an established professional still being measured mostly by his St Mirren spell: steady enough, functional enough, and not in need of grand claims.
