Jordi Altena

Jordi Altena of Heart of Midlothian was born in Gorinchem, Netherlands on 4 December 2003 (age 22).

Jordi Altena is a Dutch right-back, born on 4 December 2003 (age 22), who plays for Hearts. His current market value is around £510,000, according to Transfermarkt.

His strongest league return so far came with De Treffers in 2024-25, when he scored three times in 27 appearances. That is modest enough, but it gives a fair picture of a full-back who has already had regular senior football rather than just academy promise attached to his name.

At Hearts in 2026-27, Altena has made 10 league appearances. He has also featured in the League Cup, Scottish Cup, Champions League qualifiers, Europa League qualifiers, Conference League qualifiers and the Conference League proper, taking him to 18 appearances in all competitions for the club.

Altena’s career is still in its early senior phase: a Dutch defender who built minutes at De Treffers and is now getting Scottish and European exposure with Hearts.
