Angeliño, born on 4 January 1997 (age 29), is a Spanish left-back currently with Roma. A compact defender at 5ft 7in (1.70m), he has built his career more on movement, delivery and attacking width than on physical dominance.
His route took him out of Spain early and through the wider City Football Group system, before more settled senior spells helped establish him. He became particularly prominent at RB Leipzig, where his best league return came in 2020-21: four goals in 26 appearances from left-back, a decent output in a role that often asks for plenty and forgives little.
Roma have used him as part of their left-sided options rather than as a headline act. In 2025-26, he has made seven Serie A appearances and two in the Europa League, giving him nine appearances in all competitions, without a goal.
His market value is around £17m, according to Transfermarkt. His career has been a well-travelled one, with Leipzig the most productive spell and Roma the current stop.
