Julian Eskesen, born on 16 March 1999 (age 26), hails from Denmark. Standing at a height of 5ft 8in (1.75m) and weighing 10st 9lb (68kg), Eskesen has built a career as a footballer, predominantly occupying the central midfielder position. Eskesen began his career in professional football in July 2016 when he joined Odense BK in the Superliga in Denmark as a trainee. He took the opportunity to improve his skills and made his debut during the 2017 - 2018 season in which he made three appearances for the club. Over the next season, he further established himself in the first team, making an impressive 19 appearances. His appearances, however, dwindled in the subsequent 2019 - 2020 season when he made only five appearances.
An opportunity for a fresh start presented itself in January 2020, when Eskesen transferred from Odense BK to Sonderjyske, another club in Denmarkβs Superliga. His first season at Sonderjyske mirrored his final at Odense, with Eskesen making only five appearances. In March 2022, he transferred from Sonderjyske in Denmark to Haugesund in the OBOS-ligaen in Norway for an undisclosed fee. While at Haugesund, Eskesen scored three goals in his 26 first team league appearances in the 2022 season. The subsequent year saw him score once in 20 appearances, continuing to be a regular starter for Haugesund. His performance in the 2024 season mirrored his debut season with the club, with Eskesen finding the back of the net three times in his 26 appearances. He scored another goal in his 13 appearances in the 2025 season.
Eskesen made a move to Scotland in August 2025, signing for Dundee United, and while the exact fee is undisclosed, it marked a new chapter in his career.
