Junior Adamu (born 6 June 2001, age 25) is an Austrian striker whose early senior output was most notable at FC Liefering, where he scored 14 goals in 20 league appearances in 2019-20. That remains his most productive league season, and it set him on the path towards Freiburg.
At Freiburg, Adamu was used as a centre-forward, though his 2025-26 league campaign was modest: nine appearances and one goal during a loan spell there. Celtic moved for him in February 2026, bringing him in from Freiburg. His market value is around £2.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
His first few months at Celtic were limited in playing time, with four league appearances and no goals in 2025-26, but he was part of the squad that won the Premiership that season. For a striker still trying to turn promise into regular production, the move to Glasgow was a clear step into a more demanding setting.
