It wasn't until July 2025 that the midfielder saw a permanent change in teams. He transferred from Crystal Palace to St Mirren where he had spent a successful loan period. In the 2024-2025 season at St Mirren in Scotland, Phillips graced the first team with 35 appearances and again scored four goals in league matches. He is confirmed to continue this run at St Mirren in the 2025-2026 season.
Phillips' contribution to the team is not just bound by league matches, as he has also partaken in Cup tournaments. He impressively scored four goals in just four starts in the League Cup for St Mirren in the 2025-2026 season.
