Killian Phillips, born in the United States on 30th March 2002, is a 24-year-old professional footballer boasting the role of a central midfielder for the Scottish Premiership side, St Mirren. With an impressive height of 6ft 2in (1.9m) and a weight of 13st 5lb (85kg), he brings a substantial physical presence to the field.
In the early days of his career, specifically January 2020, he made a move to Drogheda United in the Republic of Ireland, where he delivered a healthy contribution with two goals and 30 first-team appearances in the 2021 season.
Phillips' potential caught the attention of the English Premier League as he transferred to Crystal Palace in January 2022, though the specifics of the deal remain undisclosed. His time at Palace saw him farmed out to several lower-league English sides on loan – firstly Shrewsbury Town in League Two, then Wycombe Wanderers in League One. Across these brief stints in the 2022-2023 season, Phillips chalked up ten appearances and netted a single goal at Shrewsbury.
Switching his scenery from English to Scottish football, Phillips joined Aberdeen, on loan from Crystal Palace, in January 2024. Again, his stay was short-lived, managing just ten league appearances before pushing on to his next destination. His journey led him to St Mirren, initially on loan in August 2024, before the move became permanent in July 2025.
His time at St Mirren has proven fruitful. Across the 2024-2025 and 2025-2026 seasons, Phillips secured his place in the first team with a total of 69 appearances and seven goals to date. Moreover, his efforts in the Cup competitions have been noteworthy, with four goals in eight starts in the League Cup and four starts in the Scottish Cup during the 2025-2026 season.
Beyond his club commitments, Phillips has also represented the Republic of Ireland on an international platform, claiming one appearance as a substitute in the World Cup Qualifiers Europe 2024-2026.
