Born in England on 18 March 2007, Leo Shahar, now just 18 years of age, is a robust and dynamic defender who predominantly features as a right back for Newcastle United. Standing at a sturdy 5 feet 8 inches (equivalent to 1.75 metres), he possesses a physical frame which weighs in at 10 stone and 7 pounds (approximately 67 kilograms). He showcases his talents on the pitch with the number 76 emblazoned on his jersey.
Being outside the archetypical player height and weight parameters, Shahar adopted a tenacious and relentless style of play, utilising his comparative agility and speed to his advantage. His aggressive tracking back, marauding forward runs and a knack for a timely tackle make him an indispensable asset for his team.
Whilst Shahar never had the privilege to grace the lush turf of Paradise, the young gun's journey, later honing his skills at Newcastle, may someday lead him down the well-trodden path laid by many of the great 'Bhoys', gracing the hallowed Hoops. But until then, we shall eagerly observe his growth and progress from Tyneside.
