Miguel Freckleton, an English defender born on 8 September 2002 (age 22), is a central towering figure in the defence for St Mirren, standing at 6ft 3in (1.93m) and weighing 12st 8lb (80kg).
Linked with a current market value of approximately £106k according to Transfermarkt, Freckleton's contract at St Mirren is set to run until 31 May 2027, with nearly two years remaining.
Providing a brief overview of his career moves, Freckleton first joined Sheffield United in the English Championship in December 2021. A year later, in November 2022, he was loaned out to Wealdstone, in England's National League. During the 2022 - 2023 season, Freckleton chalked up 14 appearances on the pitch and scored one notable goal for Wealdstone.
Subsequently, in March 2023, Freckleton found himself temporarily moving yet again, this time to Yeovil Town, also in the National League. Several months later in August 2023, he was on the move again, this time on loan to Chesterfield in League Two.
Notably, he seemed to have garnered a taste for League Two, as in July 2024, Freckleton was loaned out to Swindon Town. However, it wasn't until July 2025 that Freckleton made a significant move north of the border, when he was transferred to St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership, for an undisclosed fee.
Now, in the 2025 - 2026 season, Freckleton takes to the pitch for St Mirren in Scotland, hoping to make his mark in the history of this club.
