Mohamed Diomande, born on 30 October 2001 (age 24), is an Ivory Coast midfielder currently with Rangers. Primarily used in central midfield, he came through at FC Nordsjaelland, where his best attacking return came in 2022-23: five goals in 32 league appearances.
His move to Rangers put him into the weekly churn of Scottish football, and by 2025-26 he remains a regular first-team presence rather than a fringe option. He has made 28 league appearances this season, scoring once, with further outings in the League Cup, Scottish Cup, Champions League qualifiers and Europa League. Across all competitions for Rangers in 2025-26, he has made 43 appearances and scored twice.
His form has been solid and consistent, which is usually enough to keep a midfielder involved when the fixture list starts to bite. He has also stayed in the Ivory Coast picture, making four appearances in African World Cup qualifying during the same season.
Diomandeโs career so far has moved from development football in Denmark to a regular role at Rangers and involvement with his national side. He is not yet a player with a long body of work behind him, but he is firmly part of his current team rather than merely passing through it.
