Red Star

Red Star were founded in 1945 and play their home games at Stadion Rajko Mitić in Serbia.

Red Star Football Club, also known as Crvena Zvezda, was established in the aftermath of the Second World War, in 1945 to be exact, their presence marking a dramatic shift in the Serbian football landscape. The club's home ground, the often volatile yet invariably tantalising Stadion Rajko Mitić, provides a unique blend of old-world football charm and cold, hard Eastern-European grit.

This season, Red Star have found themselves neck-deep in three separate competitions, broadly showcasing the robust yet eclectic nature of their football strategy. A solid outing in the SuperLiga sees them comfortably holding down the second spot, with the upper echelons within grasping distance. Their efforts, though, are not merely domestic. The challenges of European competitions have been front and centre, with Red Star battling it out in the play-off stages of the renowned Champions League Qualifiers, as well as in the league stage of the lesser revered, yet deeply competitive, Europa League.
