Ross Doohan, born on 29 March 1998 (age 28), is a Scottish goalkeeper whose career has moved through a few familiar domestic stops without ever becoming especially noisy.
He joined Celtic from Dundee United in June 2021. His time at the club was not built on regular first-team football, but he was part of a successful period, with two Premiership title wins credited to his Celtic spell and one runners-up finish also on the record.
Before that move, his senior league exposure included five appearances for Ross County in the 2020-21 season. For a goalkeeper, there is not much point dressing that up in attacking language; it was simply part of the process of getting senior minutes.
Doohan left Celtic in July 2022 for Tranmere Rovers. Away from Celtic, he has also collected a Scottish Cup winner’s medal, adding a further honour to a career largely spent fighting for position rather than headlines.
His current market value is around £213,000, according to Transfermarkt. Doohan’s career is that of an established Scottish professional goalkeeper, with Celtic on the CV and a handful of honours attached, even if regular prominence has been harder to come by.
