Ryan Naderi, born on 10 July 2003 (age 22), is a German striker now with Rangers. A commanding 6ft 4in (1.94m), he is listed as their number 20 and carries a current market value of around £4m, according to Transfermarkt.
His career so far is shaped far more by Hansa Rostock than by anything that has followed. Across two league seasons there, Naderi made 42 appearances and scored 13 goals, giving him the sort of senior grounding young forwards do not always get. His strongest spell came in 2025-26, when he scored eight times in 18 league games.
At Rangers, the picture has been more modest. In 2025-26 he has made nine league appearances and scored once, with two goals in two Scottish Cup outings taking his overall Rangers total to 11 appearances and three goals. His form has been solid enough, though he has been out of the matchday squad recently, with his last appearance coming against Dundee United on 4 April 2026.
Naderi remains a developing centre-forward with a clear physical profile and a useful scoring spell at Hansa Rostock behind him. His senior career is still relatively short, but Rostock remains the spell that gives it most of its substance.
