Born in Norway on the 13th of July, 2002, Sebastian Tounekti is a talented football forward who primarily operates as a left winger for the illustrious Scottish club, Celtic. He stands at 5ft 7in (1.71m) and weighs a fit 10st 3lb (65kg). His journey with Celtic marks a significant chapter in his life as he dons the number 23 jersey, in homage to the remarkable journey he has embarked upon. Apart from his club duties, Tounekti also proudly represents the Tunisia national team.

Starting his professional career at Tromsdalen in Norway's 2. Divisjon, Tounekti made a switch to Eliteserien club Bodo Glimt in March 2020. During his time at Bodo Glimt, he made 14 first team appearances across two seasons, finding the back of the net once.
In August 2021, he was transferred on loan to FC Groningen in the Eredivisie league in the Netherlands. His stint at Groningen ended in June 2022 with the completion of his loan spell, and he returned to Bodo Glimt. In August of the same year, Tounekti made a switch to Haugesund in the OBOS-ligaen in Norway for an undisclosed fee.

Apart from his club duties, Tounekti has showcased fine form on international duties as well. He took part in the Africa Cup of Nations in 2025 for Tunisia, and also contributed to the Celtic cause in the League Cup 2025 - 2026, where he scored in three of his starts.
