Emam Ashour is an Egyptian centre midfielder, born on 20 February 1998 (age 28), and currently with Al Ahly. His market value is around £3.5m, according to Transfermarkt.
His career profile is still shaped most clearly by his spell at FC Midtjylland. In the 2022-23 league season he made five appearances and scored once, a brief but useful European marker rather than a long body of work.
At Al Ahly, Ashour remains a regular first-team presence in 2025-26. He has made 19 appearances across all competitions, scoring two goals, including seven league appearances with two goals, six Africa CON appearances and six Premier League Play Offs appearances. He has also been active for Egypt this season, with five World Cup appearances and two goals, plus two WC Qual. Africa appearances and one Club World Cup appearance.
He was linked with a move to Celtic in July 2026 while at Al Ahly. For now, his career is that of an established Egyptian midfielder with a short FC Midtjylland spell behind him and a continuing role at Al Ahly.
