Gue-sung Cho, born on 25 January 1998 (age 28), is a Korea Republic striker with FC Midtjylland, where he wears the No 10 shirt. His current market value is around £3m, according to Transfermarkt.
Cho’s most productive league season came at FC Anyang in 2019, when he scored 14 goals in 33 appearances. That was the clearest early marker of a forward capable of carrying a scoring load, rather than merely filling a role up front.
At Midtjylland in 2026-27, he remains a regular first-team presence. He has made 17 appearances across all competitions, scoring three goals, including one in Conference League qualifying and two in the Europa League. He has also been involved with Korea Republic this season, making two World Cup appearances and four in Asian World Cup qualifying, with one goal.
Cho’s career has taken him from a productive spell in Korean football to an established role in Denmark, with international involvement still part of the picture. He remains an active striker in Midtjylland’s current squad rather than a name from the margins.
